Fieldwork made ideas accountable. Land does not care whether a sentence sounds convincing. A project either holds water, feeds people, teaches something, or falls apart and asks you to learn more carefully.
That has shaped the way I write, teach, and build: stay close to the material, keep the human stakes visible, and do not pretend that complexity is an excuse for vagueness.
